Awakening

See I was going to name this post after the song i was listening to but seeing the song title was "dirty second hands" i went with "awakening" :D 

I guess you can say i lied prematurely in my last post. I'm not going to post about annual sports day. did nothing interesting, so i have nothing interesting to tell. So instead, I'm going to blog about something more interesting : BOON

You and me

Im dedicating this post to DEBBIE and subsequently JUDAH. Since they were nice enough to let me stay at their house till my parents finish lunch. Although debbie was being mean to me. I kinda ditched her at the medal presentation :p she loves me.

-They were going to drop me home when i figured there would be no one home.
-"I would vote you as captain next year. Oh wait I can't vote. I wanna vote you so that
your house will lose" [or something along those lines.]

Some funny things about Debbie:
She has no tan line.
[its the truth. and its scary. its the scary truth]
She laughs at everything. every lame thing.
She says things like "potato couch" and doesnt realize it. at least not by herself.

She can't pull off "the stare". She's just too cute. 

She fell asleep on the floor of my gym. [Hence awesome picture of her]

owh and i remember another thing that happened : i got a cut on my left hand and burnt my right. neither of which i believe is my fault. 

Someone left a white sleeveless shirt at my place. make yourself known. before i decide to turn it into a kite and fly it off my balcony.

BBq in the storm.

Yesterday was apparently fun. i wasn't there for quite a bit of time so i can't really say anything. In other words I'm indirectly calling you guys liars :p 

I lost count of the amount of times i went up and down the lift. 

There better have been enough food. Cause i barely ate :p

I got cake smashed in my face. and thrown in the pool. multiple times. [i promise the first time was involuntary] 

The charcoal got wet. and we didnt have alot of extra. so our bbQ party turned into an oven party :)

I found out today my laptop was messed with while i was gone. 

I now own a few things i never thought i would own FOR EXAMPLE :

waterproof UNO cards [who knew they exited??]

a tiny pink cow

a round blue slightly distorted elephant soft toy

I now know what its like to be sung to. not counting birthday songs. 

Special shout out to Kabileish/ Kabileish's mom for the present :p:p

My favorite birthday card says something along the lines of me being a product malfunction.

shaving competition?

Sweeny todd of fleet street. i think thats a very cool line/name/title. hehe. guess i am a pretty big fan of johnny depp. I'm watching it now. the scene where they have a shaving competition and the other dude is singing something like "you shave-a the faceeee to pull-a the dot [or something like that]"then something something in a really funny accent. so funny :p 

anyway i had nothing better to do so i decided to follow blogs but i got lazy so i stopped. planned for me this holidays : tennis, tuition, sleep, study, procrastinating...

alright i would continue with this but i feel like paying undivided attention to my tv. wouldn't wanna hurt it's feelings after all :)

Dont you think these things are cool :D Fine their annoying. I mean they never stop moving. but its taking up space so there, 1 use for it. On the other hand this is my song of the week. AWESOME SONG. I tend to pick new favorite songs every other week. or every few days. Unlike JAC who can stick to one song for weeks on end. Don't deny it Jac. Its okay, we all have our weird traits :p

Okay i really have nothing else to say. I've been working on this post for maybe 15 minutes now and as you can see i haven't gotten very far. If i leave now i'm probably going to read everybody's personal messages on msn [yes that may be very weird but you do it too so don't talk]

Going through my head

From Monday to Friday we spend about 7 and a half hours at school. Just add extra sports practices to that and count in tuition at the end of the day and our day is covered to the max. Drowning in everything going on never felt so possible. Mid-sem 1 is around the corner and I know i'm not all that confident about sitting for the papers at this moment. Pressure is coming down and I'm holding my breath till we get past the feeling of being so new to upper secondary life. Weekends aren't a long enough break anymore and sometimes coming home and just dropping is the only way to pick myself back up the next morning. It might sound depressing, i know, but i guess thats the life of modern day students. And this is just secondary school. 

I like to go with the flow. I need to come home and just do nothing for a while. Daily tuition is completely out of the question and studying is something i do according to my mood. It probably doesn't fit in with the requirements to stay afloat nowadays but nonetheless its nice to feel like yourself amidst all thats happening. It's hard to get but everybody wants the best of both worlds. Yes, thats been going through my head since school started. well ttfn. 

Swimming Gala 09 [as requested]

SELADANGS WON!! I support of our team i'm writing this whole post in GREEN :) First thing is first. A big congratulations to all swimmers out there. Swimming Gala was your day to shine and in that you succeeded. 

My swimming gala didn't end in receiving medals for swimming and things like that but I did work at a booth in the good name of our Christian Fellowship Club. We sold very healthy, deep fried food and sausages and what not. Profit wasn't exactly our main goal but we made some anyway. Enough to sustain us for a while. Selling out everything was a feat that we did not achieve sadly. A lot of the food not sold ended up being given away for free. Yes, apologies to people who actually paid but REMEMBER it all goes to charity :D All proceeds of the sales this year are going to the victims in Gaza. 

All in all it was good fun. I didn't get to watch a lot of the swimming but i cheered whenever I could and shared in the joy after the announcement of this year's swimming gala champion, Seladang! So now that swimming gala is over we can look forward to Games Carnival and sports day. Oh the fun of missing classes to bake under the sun all day.

School is starting again!! WHOOOT!!!..................... 

Don't mock me. I know you know its not possible for me to that hyped. The only motivation i have to wake me up tomorrow morning is the fact we'll be missing 3 Mondays of school this month :p Thats right! You heard right. Did you know Malaysia is in the top ranks of countries with the most public holidays? Ahh perks of being Malaysian. 

Reminder to all : Do now what you wont be able to do starting tomorrow. Fine its not THAT bad but still, assuming you've finished all your homework, the fun part is all we have to think about now but once school starts there wont be a time free from work. SOMETIMES i wish school didn't exist -.- but life is life. Enjoy it. Living is a once in a life time opportunity :D I think I'm babbling. Owh well. Can't get any worse than talking about frogs. *coughrightalvincough* 

I was planning on going on but its 10 o'clock and I have better things to do. Tv and ice cream calls! ttfn.

Topic : The Rainforest World Music Festival held in Kuching Sarawak.

 Its an annual event suitable for every music lover out there. There is a very high chance I'll be going this year :) Excitement. Its a 3 day event during July this year. There are workshops and performances by musicians from all over the world playing in the heart of the Borneo Jungle. How awesome is that? Anyway you can check out this link for more information on it. 

July is going to be really busy with the box office production and the music festival and the platinum expedition O.o  Overworked. Oh well. January is over. Can you believe it? Its been a month now as a fourth former. Time flies, its true. There's always so many things to do and so many things to look forward to but everyone needs a break so every hour counts.

I'm not a crazy fan of the show with characters from the show as my display pictures and all that but so far its been a nice holiday addiction. Now that my brother is back in Australia I need something to do right? 

I still have homework waiting for me. This blog is currently the easiest and least time consuming. Its a system to choose the easiest homework to do until none of them are easy and you stall until there is no choice but to do it. anywayyyy, till i've covered more homework, ttfn.

technically a new year.

Its a new year with new beginnings AGAIN. How awesome is that? If you didn't like the way you started of the new year then in less than a month you can start all over again :) Fine so it's not actually the way it works but CNY holidays have been a great break and since i started off the year with being a little behind in homework [Sry teacher i know i'm suppose to have more posts by now] and a little behind in studies, these holidays are my way of catching up. hopefully. Holiday homework is piling up as expected. We just can't seem to catch a break but with the workload yet to come in the next 2 years i guess we shouldn't complain. yet. I've been meaning to make a list of things to do because I cant remember everything at once. so list of things to do :

First of all. Sorry to Pn Azura for the late post. I forgot the blog after the first 2. Anyways I'm in the middle of doing add math now and my brain hurts so I'm breaking. Valentines day is coming! It means seeing pink and smelling roses everywhere. Oh yeah, remember the Interact Club is selling flowers and most likely some other things too so please buy :) Even before Valentines day is Chinese New Year! The fact that we're only a few days away from the holidays is keeping me alive. Yes, i realize its only been about 2 weeks of school since the last year end holidays but form 4's a killer. Anyway its back to add math now. Cheers. 

Post 2.

So..I'm back. At this moment I'm watching American Idol Season 8! Something to do other than homework. Everybody would agree that American Idol is the biggest talent show in the history of talent shows. Yes, it might be getting old but who could resist completely :) Not only do you get laughs out of this but you see that there are people who are genuinely crazy out in the world. Really makes you wonder what goes through their heads. Very amazing and quite amusing. Well, satisfied with the last idol, I can't wait to see who's up next. Cheers. 

First post. Ever.

Well as you probably know, my name is Audrey Desiree Ong Ai Li. I'm one of the few people with a second name. My lack in blogging skills are probably very obvious because I am personally not a big fan of either reading or writing blogs. In addition to that, writing or talking about myself aren't one of my skills either. I can tell you I love to listen to music at anytime of the day, same goes for eating. Eating a small portion many times is actually more healthy than eating big meals. Remember that and think of me :)
